Daddy lived a good life. He was not a saint but he believed God, and made amend albeit in reflection could have been better. As the good book states, 'For what is your life? It is even a vapour that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.' (James 4.14). When my brother told me our dad have passed away, and I was taken to the place where his body was laid, I had believed a miracle will take place as I prayed for him, but it never happened because his spirit has returned to heaven, then I realised the brevity of life. I remember few days earlier when I asked him of his burial and death, he was dismissive but now, it has happened before us all. It still feels unreal, but in reality, the Lord took him! In the year 2000, he wrote me to tell me of his new found relationship with the Lord, and from then on, I encouraged him, as with others to serve the Lord Christ. I rest my case in the Lord, that he is now in the bosom of the Lord. Therefore, I will rejoice in the Lord always. Again, I will say, rejoice! (Phil 4.4).
